MetroGuide Homepage
Gets a Makeover

Hollywood, Florida - Redesign of a homepage can be a big deal for a company whose key website features -- many remaining in pivotal play -- were mapped out in 1997. Today, MetroGuide.com, Inc. announces roll-out of its dynamic new corporate homepage.

"Visit MetroGuide.com and see what we've been up to," said CEO Mark Metz. Utilizing flash technology, the new and improved homepage tells the story of the decline of "old media" and, through the digitization of local content, the rise of Metroguide as a media publisher in the enviable position of sitting atop the best brands for the distribution of local content across the Internet.

Cimetta Design, of Southwest Ranches, Florida, was selected to develop the flash presentation. "It was a pleasure working with Ken [Cimetta] and his team," said Scott Rogers, MetroGuide's President. "They did a top-notch job and played an integral role at all stages of development, both creative and technical."

MetroGuide, located at http://metroguide.com, is among the largest Internet hospitality and local search sites, featuring among its premier sites, AttractionGuide.com, CarRentalGuide.com, DiningGuide.com, EventGuide.com, FareGuide.com, LodgingGuide.com, NightGuide.com, RetailGuide.com and VenueGuide.com.

Incorporated in 1996 and privately held, MetroGuide's network of websites attracts more than two million unique visitors monthly to its quarter-million-plus pages of hospitality-related e-commerce sites.

Having financed its venture entirely through internal sales growth and with no outside capital, MetroGuide today maintains a proprietary database of more than 90,000 restaurants and 61,000 lodging establishments. MetroGuide also stands at the forefront of the battle to combat digital copyright piracy, with multiple court awards.
